Thank God For Giving You Rest In Your Marriage
Thank God For Giving You Rest In Your Marriage

Today, you should thank God for giving you rest in your marriage. No matter what you are going through at the moment in your marriage, you will enter into God’s rest in your marriage this year in Jesus’ name. The first challenge in marriage was in the garden of Eden between Adam and Eve. God instructed them not to eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. However, Satan tempted Eve and she ate the fruit. She also gave some to her husband. The garden of Eden was supposed to be a place of rest for Adam and Eve, but God chased them out of the beautiful garden.
There was a wedding that took place in the Cana of Galilee. Trouble came when the wine finished. I believe that there would have been some form of restlessness among the couple. They must have been thinking of how to save themselves from the imminent embarrassment. However, Jesus intervened and turned water into wine and God saved the couple from the embarrassment. This year, God is also giving you rest in marriage. The Lord is giving you a new wine in your marriage. God will make your marriage a heaven on earth, so you need to thank God for this.
Raising Your Children Improperly Can Bring Unrest In Your Marriage
Some parents show favouritism to one child over the other and they cause unrest in their marriages. This happened in the case of Isaac and Rebecca. Isaac loved Esau while Rebecca loved Jacob. This played out when Isaac wanted to bless Esau. Isaac instructed Esau to bring a venison for him so that he could bless him. However, Rebecca looked for a cunning way that allowed Jacob to present the meal to his father and he took away Esau’s blessing. This caused enmity between Jacob and Esau. From that day, Esau plotted to kill Jacob and Jacob had to run away.
You need to be careful with the way you raise your children so that you don’t cause enmity between them that will lead to unrest in your marriage. Today, let us thank God in advance for wisdom to build a happy marriage. Many marriages are full of strife, quarrel, malice and bitterness. However, God is giving you rest this year in your marriage in Jesus’ name. So, let us thank God in advance for giving us rest in our marriages.
