Thank God For All His Promises

Thank God For All His Promises

Today, we will pray to thank God for all His promises. The Bible is full of God’s promises. We need to constantly thank God for all His promises. Many people can promise you and not fulfill the promises. Whenever God makes a promise, he will always fulfill it. Numbers 23:19 (NKJV), “God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?” If your earthly father makes some wonderful promises to you, the best you can do as a properly raised child is to say thank you. Even when you have not received what father promised, you have to show an appreciation. Most of the time, we don’t remember God for all His promises but we have to show our gratitude.

Any time you study the scriptures and you see the promises of God, you need to say thank you. God promised Abraham that He will give him the land of Canaan, a land that is flowing with milk and honey, and He fulfilled it. However, when God told Abraham that his children will inherit the land of Canaan, he had no child. However, God had seen the nation of Israel before the nation was born. God told Abraham that his children will be slaves in a foreign land. Genesis 15:13 (NLT) says, “Then the LORD said to Abram, “You can be sure that your descendants will be strangers in a foreign land, where they will be oppressed as slaves for 400 years.” When God was telling Abraham this, he was still trusting God for a child.

God’s Promises Never Fails

There are so many promises of God in the scriptures. God promised us good health. He promised us riches and honor. God told Adam that the seed of the woman shall bruise the head of the serpent and it came to pass. He gave us salvation through Jesus Christ. God promised you that when you go through fire, He will be with you. He also promised to be with you when you pass through the waters. He was the fourth man in the fire with the three Hebrews. By the blast of God’s nostrils, the Red Sea parted. God told the children of Israel that He will take them to the land of promise. He took care of all the hurdles on the way and gave them the land.

God also promised us that He will command His angels to guard us in all our ways. God made so many promises for you and I and those promises will surely come to pass. Even if there is any promise that you are still trusting God for, be rest assured that you will see the fulfillment. So, give thanks to God for His promises.
